KEF Flood Relief - Situation Report (August 30, 2010)

KEF (www.kefintl.org) continues to make its modest effort to the flood relief with its limited financial resources. It has joined hands with other organisations like College of Engineering and the army to supply relief essentials.


19th August – KEF supplied 6 tons of mineral water (donated by Pharmagen Medical Services Limited) to Northern Sindh.


21st August – KEF reached the remotest parts in Southern Punjab with 12 tons of mineral water. In addition KEF distributed Rs. 100,000 worth of dry rations in the area.


25th August – KEF joined assisted College of Engineering, Risalpur in KP (formally NWFP) which is supplying two meals a day to 10,000 people. KEF supplied 3,600 litres of mineral water.


28th August – KEF reached a remote village Zamma Khel in Nowshera district and supplied and distributed rations to 70 families (of five) for one week. 800 litres of mineral water, shoes and clothing. Transport was provided with the courtesy of IOM (www.iom.int) .
