University of Gloucestershire join hands with KEF

Continuing the strong relationship, the University of Gloucestershire has joined hands with KEF to provide relief to the earthquake victims.

"Following the recent earthquake in Pakistan & Kashmir, we will be raisingfunds in order to support the school and the community it serves which has been devastated by this disaster in and around Rawalakot district. More than 90% of the houses are destroyed and rendered unsafe. The school building is being utilised as a relief camp for theose who have survived.

The Pearl Valley School in Rawalakot has a strong link with Education here at Gloucestershire. The UoG with personal support of the Vice Chancellor Dame Janet Trotter has been associated with the KEF project for a number of years now. The chairman KEF, Gen Rahim Khan has visited the UoG to meet & discuss developments." .......
